S.S.S. WOMEN'S H.S.S

Sanskrit is the life line of the spiritual consciousness of India. It is not merely a language. It is the life style of India. Enriched with Indian scriptures, Sanskrit gives the divine message of world peace and prosperity of mankind. Rajasthan is the only state in the country which has a separate department of Sanskrit education. Established in the year 1958, the department has been working for the promotion and propagation of Sanskrit language in the state. Successive governments in the state have attached great importance to Sanskrit language. The creation of a separate post of Principal Secretary, Sanskrit Education shows resolve of the state Government for the development of Sanskrit.

Receptive aim of teaching Sanskrit

This aim means making students understand the language Sanskrit. There are different abilities to make students understand the language which are to be developed among students at secondary Level. The general objectives of teaching Sanskrit can be envisaged in terms of those abilities.

The Hon'ble Chairman informed that so far, his knowledge goes on this issue, the Govt. of Odisha was defeated in the Supreme Court. The local people are now under the dual administration of Govt. of Odisha and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and they are getting more benefit from Andhra Pradesh

Borra Group of Villages

The Secretary, R & D.M. Dept. clarified that disputes relating to Borra Group of Villages have been closed with the following observations of Hon'ble Supreme Court. The Orissa order of 1936 did not intend to allocate the disputed area to the State of Orissa, even though it had been acquired the Zamindar of the Jeypore (Impartible) Estate at a certain stage. After the formation of the province of Orissa, the disputed area was part of the Vizagapatnam District of the erstwhile Madras Presidency and despite the contrary claims of the plaintiff

Bilateral Issues Relating to Ganjam, Gajapati & Rayagada.

Secretary, Revenue D.M. Dept. said that there are no major boundary disputes in Ganjam, Gajapati and Rayagada districts but there are some minor local issues which can be comfortably resolved by district administration.

Bilateral Issues Relating to Balasore & Mayurbhanj.

The boundary disputes between Odisha and West Bengal relating to Balasore and West Medinapur districts have been solved as per the report (dt.28.12.1938) of the then Collector, Balasore Mr. Solomon and middle of Subarnarekha
